S60 Rocks, because when I was in Israel, I was bike riding with a couple of friends in the desert and we got lost. So i took out my shiny, new S60 and used my A-GPS, which none of my other friends had, to find out where we were and how to get out, and it got me where i needed to go. Thanks S60!!!!!

Last Christmas my church helped provide food for senior adults who were struggling financially. I was set to deliver about 14 meals to different houses all over the city on a Saturday morning. I stopped by the office to print out emails and get directions only to discover that our server was down. I was in trouble until I realized that I had all the emails on my s60 Nokia. I was able to retrieve all the emails on my phone, make phone calls to all the seniors, and use the built-in GPS to guide me all around town to make deliveries. On that crazy Saturday in December of 2008, 14 wonderful senior adults would have gone with out Christmas meals without the help of s60.

Ill start off by saying, you never know what u have until you actually need it and use it. My friends and i went out to eat for my 10 yr anniversary, so we decided to go to a place called the River cafe, we called and made reservations butnone of us bothered to get directions, this is wear the story begins, i start up my n85 and start garmin, type in river cafe brooklyn and bam it pops up, hit drive too and we are off, while driving i hook my phone to my car speakers and start playing tunes as i get voice instructions thru the gps on the phone,My friends are astounded, so they ask what type of phone is that, i tell them a nokia n85, , i tell them this phone is using an s60 platform and its open, they ask what do u mean its open, i explain im not limited to what comes on my device similar to your computer i can enhance this device by adding programs and features i need to make the device suit my needs completely.Well we finally arrive at the river cafe which is a restaurant that over looks the Brooklyn bridge, and low and behold no one brings a camera, so i take out the n85 and shoot a few pictures and even take a few videos and again they are astounded at the quality of the pics on the phone. I tell them take down this web address and when you get in look at the pictures because im uploading them to my flickr account now. Well that floored them i mean they were all so inquisitive about s60 and n85 and the devices other capabilities, but i did have to tell them we are here to celebrate my 10 yr anniversary so we can continue this another time . well we had a great dinner and a few more spurts of discussion about s60, and the next day 1 of them ask if there is a qwerty device similar or in a s60 platform, and that night he bid on an e71 on ebay .

S60 Rocks because it enabled me to get an excellent photo of my first child less than an hour after he was born and has enabled me to keep getting excellent photo’s and video of him ever since.

Walking home from school one day, I bumped into an older man who walked around with an old note pad and pencil. He seemed lost so when I stopped at the crosswalk, he approached me for directions to a Radio Shack nearby. I didn’t know where one was but I told him I could find out. I took out my E71-2 and easily and quickly loaded up Google Maps. He asked me what I needed with my phone when he was asking for directions. I showed him turn-by-turn the nearest Radio Shack (3 blocks away) and he was shocked and wrote everything down into his notepad. He thanked me continuously and apologized if he could also ask me for a nearby FedEx as well. A minute later he got his directions. Smiling, he asked if there was anything he could get for me. I told him it was okay and that I was on my way home. He had nice teeth for an old man; thanks S60.

I was recently on vacation to Florida with my son (6 months) and wife to Disney World and really wasn’t sure what to expect. I took my N85 to take it through its paces.
I was able to get great video (about 10 videos) of his first time in the pool and walking around Magic Kingdom.
I took tons of great photos (~80) of his first time being at the zoo, animal kingdom ride, Mickey and Minnie adventures, AND at Space Mountain!
We decided to go out to Cape Canaveral and see the Space Shuttle. The road was pretty bland and I didn’t know the stations in the rental car. We used the FM transmitter to play some decent tunes through the radio, Google Maps to find our way through the back roads of swampy Florida, and used Qik to stream the experience to our family and friends.
When all was said and done, I was able to upload the pics via Share Online to Flickr as the trip went on so moms back home could share in the experience. Truly an awesome phone.
