Come on out to the Nokia Flagship store in NYC and get a sneak peak at Nokia’s hottest new handsets the N97 and the N86.  The group has seen the N97 go from an early hardware concept to a capable and well polished mobile platform.  So come out and play with one for yourself.  You will also get to meet the community that makes S60 great.

Thanks for all that made it out Friday night.  As usually we got to play with an ever more production ready N97.  In the past 3 months we have seen the N97 go from nothing more than hardware with buggy unusable software to a impressive hand held.  June should be a great month for Nokia at the rate the N97 is maturing.  You can check out the photos from the meet up below.

Ever wish that a company would just ask you how to make their product better? Chanse Arrington of Nokia has posted that very question on HowardForums asking for feedback from users.  He wants to know everything that you love and hate about S60.  This is your chance to give some direct feedback to Nokia for them to take into consideration for upcoming versions of S60.  Head over to HowardForums to weigh in.

The next NYC S60 User Group meeting is good to go! It is a Friday night and you considering hanging out with NYC’s mobile phone blogging community and other S60 enthusiasts, you better thing of a good cover story to tell your friends. How about secret agent training for the government? They should believe that. Little will they know that you will actually be handling some of Nokia hottest unreleased phones and discussing the finer points of mobile computing. Afterward we head out to the NYC night to find good drinks and fun times. Not a hard task in New York. Hope to see you all there!
