Thanks for all that made it out Friday night. As usually we got to play with an ever more production ready N97. In the past 3 months we have seen the N97 go from nothing more than hardware with buggy unusable software to a impressive hand held. Last night was a real treat for the S60 User Group. Chanse Arrington from Nokia showed up carrying a N97 for us to play with. Very impressive hardware. Last night the S60 users of NYC converged on the Nokia Flagship Store once again. Besides getting to play with the 5800 again we got to hear some of Liliana Rose music from her new demo. (www.listentoliliana.com). After hanging out at the Flagship store we headed downtown to Wildwood BBQ near 19th and Park. They had over 40 different whiskeys and bourbons. Needless to say, it was a good time. Stay tuned for our plans for January.
At December’s s60 meetup (you have RSVP’ed, right?) our ears will be graced by the talented LiliAna. She will be playing some new songs from her upcoming demo CD as well as some covers. You can check her out on YouTube and follow her on Twitter.
This will be the third s60 user group. I am still waiting on word from the Nokia store if we can use there location for a meetup point, but i hope we behaved ourselves enough last time to get invited again.

Great news guys. Spoke with the NYC Flagship and they agreed to help us get the night started. We can have the 2nd floor of the store to mingle and what not. Then around 7:30 head out to Brother Jimmy’s (or somewhere closer? Recommendations?)
Couple ground rules for using the store. Everyone has to be on their best behavior and not cause a scene. We are their guests, so lets not embarrass our selves.
